The Escape Room craze may not be as strong as it once was, but it can still prove to be a fun group activity, or a solo one if you go with The Rooms-Escape Challenge. You have been trapped in not just one room, but a series of rooms that are interconnected. The only way forward is through them and conveniently each of them only has two doors: The one forward and the one you can through. You need to use your skills as an escapist and puzzle-solver to get out of each of these rooms and hopefully find the real exit.

About The Rooms-Escape Challenge

There are only so many places you can look in an escape room which is why you need to consider that every spot is just a piece of the puzzle. In this game, you'll be relying mainly on observation to find your way forward. Some of the rooms will be bare while others will almost have too many things to look at, but you can't let yourself be distracted. You need to focus on the things that don't look right to you and from there, you can spot the oddities. Keep doing that and the keys will always reveal themselves to you.

How to Play

The Rooms-Escape Challenge is a 3D puzzle game about trying to escape various rooms using only the mouse. To look around, hold the Left Mouse Button and drag the cursor around the screen. Click the button to zoom in on different areas and interact with certain objects, holding and dragging to use movable pieces. The goal is to escape the different rooms by opening the door in front of you. Keep going until you find your way out.

The game will start you off in a pretty simple room with not much to go on. You can look to the left and right sides and around the door to find things out of the ordinary. As you examine the room, you may come across objects that you can collect and store in your inventory. To use them in the environment, simply open the inventory and drag the object to where you want to use it. If it's correct, an animation will play putting the object into the right position. Most rooms involve finding a key or mechanism in which to open the door and once you do, the door will open and you can proceed to the next room.

Tips and Tricks

The escape rooms will vary in terms of clutter and theme, but there will always be things that stick out. The obvious places can still yield results like tables, boxes, and the like. If something looks off or misarranged, it's likely hiding something.
