Pocket Drift
Once again, we must talk about the art of drifting and how it looks cool even when down with small cars like those in Pocket Drift. This is a world centered around tracks filled with turns and the cars that are built to handle them. However, the cars won't get anywhere unless they have a capable driver to take them on. Drifting is not easy, and it can be hard to hold for a long period. But these tracks demand that you drift around them and earn your keep with whatever you gain from the road after you finish it.
About Pocket Drift
Playing a drift game can be intense and relaxing, depending on how you play it and your skill level. This game is about drifting, and every kind of drifter can find some fun in it, whether they're an expert or a novice. Still, it requires you to have a certain amount of control so that you can pull off a stable drift. As long as you can keep the car drifting, it counts as a success, even if it doesn't look flashy. The challenge is trying to avoid all the opportunities to crash, which will interrupt any sweet drift you're trying to maintain.
How to Play
Pocket Drift is a 3D driving game about drifting small cars around small tracks using the mouse or keyboard. For the former, move the cursor to the place you want the car to turn and then hold and release the Left Mouse Button as needed. For the latter, just use the Left/Right Arrow Keys, respectively. The goal is to finish the track with enough drift points, with the drifting counter in the top left corner, the lap counter in the bottom right, and the timer in the top right. If you don't, you'll need to try the level again.
Before you begin, you can choose what car you want to drive, but each new one will cost you coins, which you'll need to learn at the different levels. When you start driving, the car will be at the start, and will have to drive around the track and complete laps. While driving, you can collect coins, power-up boxes, which can improve your score, and crates that can be broken on contact. When you start drifting, tire marks will appear, and the drift counter will increase. You'll need to earn a certain amount (shown before the level starts) and complete the number of laps before the timer runs out to beat the level.
Tips and Tricks
As far as drift games go, this one is more manageable than most since you have a better view of the track and the turns that will be coming up. You can approach them wide and start drifting a bit early to follow into the turn. Coins can be used as a guide to help direct your car's path.
